Our mission at BETHEL STUDENTS is to Glorify God by making disciples who make disciples. We want to see students live out their lives on fire for Jesus in community with other believers. Our hope is that students’ lives are changed by Jesus, challenged by the Word and that they feel cared for when they come out to Bethel Students.

Each week on Wednesday night we gather for a time of community with other students. Our Jr. High students (grade 6 to grade 8) and Sr. High students (grade 9 -grade 12) meet from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm here at the Church.

Our night starts with a time to hang out and play games. Students can come and meet new people, catch up with those who consistently come out, or even just chill and chat with a leader. Then the evening moves into a time of worship through music in the loft and teaching time of God’s. We dive into the Bible every week to see what God has to say about us, the world we find ourselves in, and how we chase after Christ in the middle of it all.

After the teaching time is over, we split off into age and gender-appropriate small groups with volunteer leaders. This time is where they can discuss what has been happening in their lives how God is prompting them and how to put into practice what we have seen in God’s word.

Our small groups are an integral part of our Bethel Students community, where students form friendships with others, and can be open about struggles, questions, and anything else the Lord has placed on their hearts. Nobody is forced to share, but everyone has the opportunity.

Overall, we want Bethel to be a place that a strong community of students is created to impact our local community of Strathroy and the world beyond.
