Allan Self
LEAD PASTOR
Allan joined the team at Bethel, serving as the Lead Pastor in 2016. Allan is married to his high school sweetheart, Natalie, and they have been blessed with four incredible, energetic children—Cameron, Grace, Abigail and Caleb.
While on campus at McMaster University, Allan got involved with a student group that God used to radically impact his life and develop a burning passion for the glory of God and the fulfillment of the Great Commission. After graduation from Mac, Allan and Natalie followed God’s call into full-time ministry with Power to Change for 8 years and then had the privilege of serving at a thriving church plant in the Niagara Region, giving leadership to the church's discipleship ministries.
Allan loves people and relishes any opportunity to teach, encourage, and point people toward a soul-satisfying devotion to Jesus Christ. He has earned a Bachelor of Science in Math from McMaster University, a Masters In Theological Studies and also a Graduate Certificate In Biblical Preaching from Heritage Seminary.
